For as long as I can remember I always loved to cook.  Even before I was allowed to pick up a knife and use a pan, I would push a chair up to the stove and watch my grandmother work her magic every night for dinner.  I developed my passion for food and my cooking style from her.  When I first became vegan I had to almost relearn how to cook, figuring out ways to layer flavors without the culinary crutch of animal products.  I hope you find some recipes interesting enough to try yourself as I look for new dishes and also try to reinvent some of my childhood dinners!
